In
2008 Adrian had developed food intolerance due to an antibiotic prescription.
An effective treatment requires a wheat-free and low sugar diet. Energy
bars and sugary sports drinks were making him sick. Since hearing about

Hammer Nutrition
and their gluten free sports fuels made with natural ingredients, he's been
using Perpetuem fuel, Recoverite recovery drink, caffeine energy gels, and
the Hammer power bars. Other brand's sport foods are made with wheat and
refined sugar and aren’t anything more than glorified candy bars. Hammer
fuels have kept Adrian fueled better than any other sport food he's tried
		before.

Scott
Unsworth, a former New Zealand age group triathlon champion, realized that
the wetsuits used at the time were completely inadequate for swimming. In
1992 Scott started up a company called Performance Speedsuits Ltd, based
out of his parent's house in Auckland, New Zealand. He began to develop
his "Speedsuits", which featured greater flexibility and buoyancy
than other existing wetsuits. The business started with Scott selling his
Speedsuits from the back of his car at swim meets and triathlon events.
The Speedsuits quickly gained a following amongst athletes and the business
started to grow. Scott was taking his first steps towards introducing what
		would become
Orca, to the world.

Specialized
was founded in 1974 by Mike Sinyard, a cycling enthusiast who sold his Volkswagen
Bus for $1,500 to fund a cycle tour of Europe, where he bought handlebars
and stems made by Campagnolo and Cinelli to take back to the US. Sinyard
started out importing Italian bike components that were difficult to find
in the United States, but the company began to produce its own bike parts
by 1976. Adrian rides the Shiv Pro featuring a super light FACT IS 10r carbon
frame with carbon aerobar and SRAM Red drivetrain. Specialized ignored UCI
rules and designed the Shiv exclusively for triathlon: with unmatched aerodynamics,
the Fuelselage integrated hydration system, and a huge range of fit adjustability.
